Meet the Creator & Mama Behind The Muncie Mama’s Market.

Kyla is a mom of two girls (2 & 3 years old), photographer of 10+ years, business owner, gardener, lover of music and the outdoors, and a Muncie native. She graduated from Wapahani High School in 2012 and then attended Ball State University where she graduated with her BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography and Intermedia Arts. She immediately started her own photography business and opened up her photo studio a year later. She started the Muncie Mama’s Market in November of 2024 and has since hosted one each spring and fall, while growing from one building to two and more than doubling the amount of vendors!
